I can't make a tight connection on my TUSHY Ace!Updated 2 years ago

We’re so sorry the best poop of your life has been momentarily delayed!

If you’re seeing a leak at a connection point involving a hose or an adapter, it’s 99.9% likely to be a crooked connection vs a defect.

Make sure you have the adapter and/or hose on straight. This type of connection can often be tricky from all the bending, awkward space allowance and little to no view of what you’re doing. Did we just make a sex joke?

It’s easy to cross-thread a hose or adapter (misalign the threading, preventing a tight seal), so here's an insider tip: The order of operations isn't important, so long as everything is sealed well. You can connect the plastic mega adapter really well to the TUSHY hose, then screw the mega adapter onto the toilet tank connection, and finally connect your existing flex hose to the mega adapter. This way you’ll have a better view of the adapter/hose connection to make sure you’re screwing everything together straight.

Keep in mind that while a leak can be startling, it’s sometimes a part of the process. You can always turn the water off to stop it and have towels and a bowl or a bucket at the ready to catch any water until you’re sure everything is sealed as even the smallest amount of water, over time, can cause damage.
